丨Celebrating the 14th Anniversary of MPMC
On August 8, 2022, Cummins (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Leaders,Xiang Yongdong and Wang Lei， visited MPMC.Mr. Doherty Du, President of MPMC,Mr. Huang Qiaoyong,CEO of MPMC and Vice CEO Ms. Liu Xiaoxia welcomed the guests on behalf of all the staffs of the company.
Over the years,MPMC has established a strategic partnership with Cummins (China), a leading company in the generator industry. Cummins (China) Investment Co., Ltd. visited the production, testing workshop, exhibition hall and the new production line of lithium battery energy storage system.They highly praised the quality of the production,the lean management and the development of the digital factory.
Mr. Doherty Du,President of MPMC,then gave a welcome speech to the Cummins delegation, and introduced the recent development of MPMC and the direction of future strategic transformation.
Global energy trends：The background of the times
1.The International Energy Agency predicts that by 2050, the global installed capacity of power generation will increase by 2.5 times compared with 2020, of which the installed capacity of fossil energy power generators will drop from 60% to less than 20%, while the installed capacity of renewable energy power generators will increase to more than 80%.
2.On the other hand, global carbon emission standards are becoming stricter, which is favorable for clean and low-carbon renewable energy power generators, and brings about a huge global blue ocean market for "energy storage".
MPMC strategic transformation
1.Upgraded from "traditional fossil energy power generators manufacturer" to "world-class mobile hybrid energy (carbon reduction + energy storage) total solution provider".
2.At present, MPMC has started to produce hybrid energy, new energy and energy storage products such as lithium battery packs, portable lithium batteries, household and commercial energy storage systems, hybrid energy generator sets and micro power stations.
Afterwards, Ms. Liu Xiaoxia,Vice CEO of MPMC Power, introduced MPMC’s factory operation system to the leaders of Cummins China, including technology research and development management system, supply chain management system, production and planning management system, quality management system, warehouse management system, packaging and shipping management system and after-sales service management system,these are the secret of how MPMC factory can be well-organized, efficient and high-quality.
Mr. Huang Qiaoyong,CEO of MPMC,introduced the digital factory achievements. "We cared about Informatization,we make full use of collaborative operation platforms such as CRM, ERP, PLM, MES, OA, etc., continuously improve the standardization, transparency, efficiency and execution of operation management, and strive to forge new supply capabilities in the digital age."
Finally, Mr. Xiang Yongdong, General Manager of Cummins China Power System, and Mr. Wang Lei, General Manager of Cummins China Power Business,delivered concluding speeches respectively. “The visit is worth it. The management team and management system of MPMC are impressive, and Cummins is also facing transformation. Cummins hopes to absorb the advantages of the new energy field into the Cummins system.
